Research Of Integrating PDM And ERP Based On Message Queue Communication Middleware

Nowadays, the PDM system and ERP system are more and more popularly applied in industry, It is very important to integrate PDM and ERP with the intention of realizing resource share. This paper analyzes and compares the existing patterns of integrating PDM and ERP. Discussing the shortcomings of those solutions on the integration of PDM and ERP, analyzing data stream for the integration of PDM and ERP, A measure to integrate PDM and ERP by the technology of message queue communication middleware is putted forward. Combining with the project of the integration of PDM and ERP of ChangLin company limited-the State CIMS demonstration corporation, developing P-E integration system on the base of MSMQ, the message queue communication middleware software of Microsoft corporation. There are three primary problems solved by the P-E integration system, they are timely integration, performance optimizing and security of integration. This paper describes the general design of P-E integration system, including the design of system structure, function model, communication model, communication protocol, and security. The detail of realizing the key technology of P-E integration system is particularly discussed. This system has been basically tested. The research and development of this system makes it possible to realize the integration of PDM and ERP asynchronously, timely and reliably. Due to MSMQ 's irrelevance to platform, this system can be used for the integration of some application systems, and it is useful and worthy of being generalized.
