With the development of 3D printing technology, the technology of computer vision which can obtain the 3D shape of objects efficiently, accurately and conveniently is getting more and more attention. Study of image color correction, single color coding, binocular image matching is done to help realizing the high speed 3D measurement of colorful objects. The main contents are as follows:(1)In order to mark the information of color fringe image onto the colorful objects, the color distortion in 3D measurement of object which has complex colors is analyzed and a novel color correction method of considering full colors and average data is proposed. There are also experimental comparisons between different color correction methods.(2)Based on the spectrum analysis methods, a designed color coding method which has properties of obviously color change and unique color pattern is putting forward for precise 3D measurement of colorful objects. There is an example of the proposed color pattern stripes for experiment.(3)A binocular images matching method especially for the proposed color pattern stripes is putting forward to realize efficient and rapid calculation procedure of 3D reconstruction, in which the result of matching would be better. It works like this: firstly, achieve fast sparse matching based on colorful boundary lines, then do high resolution and dense matching based on color correlation, lastly, experiments are done to realize binocular stereo matching and 3D reconstruction.(4) Build the experiment platform and conduct some measurements on colorful objects by using the proposed color pattern stripes, color correction method and binocular images matching method.
