Hot target is an devices which’s used to turn the voltage signal which feedbacked by the infrared axle temperature detector into a temperature signal. Hot target calibration accuracy determines the accuracy of the infrared signal of the hotbox detection system. The hot target calibration of the infrared axle temperature detection system was rated thermal power heating. In order to improve the accuracy of the target hot calibration, the article is researching how to control the temperature of the hot target. The article analyzed the principle and characteristics of temperature control algorithm, and analyzed the matlab simulation of PID algorithm and fuzzy self-tuning PID algorithm.According to the question that the simulation results of intergral setting is not ideal,we ameliorated the fuzzy self-tuning PID algorithm. Then we made the matlab simulation for the improved fuzzy self-tuning PID.The temperature control systerm uses the Atmega16 microcontroller as its core, and the microcontroller is used to complete the functions like temperature signal collection, AD conversion, 485 communication, operation temperature control algorithm and output control. According to the hardware circuit and design of the function,we design the program for the microcontroller. Finally, according to the hardware circuit and design of the function,we design the program for the microcontroller. On the basis of the trace hotbox detection system,we completed a simple experimental device of the heat-target temperature control system, and we did lots of experiments on this device. The experimental results proved that the improved fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm and the heat-target temperature control system are achievable.
