As smart phones and mobile Internet penetrated, online games become a breakthrough of mobile Internet business development. With players’ online time increase and the rapid growth of the number of game servers, performance and stability of the game has become an important competitive challenge. Util the end of 2014, the number of Chinese game market reached about 517 million users, the actual sales of the game market reached 114.48 billion yuan. Game industry and many game manufacturers are eager to look forward to enhance the efficiency of Research & Development efficiency to speeding up the development of the industry and enhance their market ability.In systems engineering, a mature and feature-rich framework makes the development of the system easy and efficient. In almost all of the large-scale online games, the characteristics of its products has a sufficient number of common features, this article hopes to conduct indepth research on the large-scale online games applications, summarize its product and application characteristics. Through in-depth analysis of the application characteristics, combined with the information systems engineering principles, analyze and summarize largescale online games architecture design principles, provide some support for the development of inductive theory of universal framework. In addition, through the practical application of design principles, put forward a universal high-performance large-scale online game architecture design, provide sufficient evidence in support and practical guidance for the development of universal industry framework.In addition, this paper firstly proposed a solution for large-scale online game load balancing puzzle from the system level architecture. This solution should have a certain reference value for a large number of large-scale online games.The purpose of this paper consists of three points:1. Analysis online games application features, summarize universal design priciples for high performance architecture.2. Base on the design principles, put forward a versatile, high-performance architecture design. Verify the feasibility and performance benefits.3. Through the study of different load balancing methods, proposed a high concurrent online game load balancing solution.
