An Analysis Of Android Securit Y And Privacy Protection

Recently the development of Android operation system is very swift and violent.The market share and shipment of devices based on Android grows rapidly. With the advent of the era of Mobile Internet, the Android has became part of our life.While Android is prospous,the security problems of Android is becoming more and more secure.The leak of private information,loss of data,malicous payment and system invasion is happening everywhere.The study of Android Security is essential and urgent.Traditionally the malicious application steals user’s private information through two steps. It collects the personal information locally on the device,then it uploads those Data.This paper fouses the two steps and discusses them..This paper analyses security mechanism of Linux and the component security of Android,listing some hidden danger. Then this paper disscusses the leak of persona information and gives some protection measures based on permission system.XMPP is the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol, a set of open technologies for instant messaging on the Internet.Because of its mature framework and solution,with the popularity of android devices XMPP is widely applied in Android push service.Android Push Service could run in background,which is a hidden danger of privacy theft and privacy leakage.This paper analyses the implementation of the client side of Android Push Service and puts forward some measures of protection from security threats.
