With the popularization of mobile terminal, the degree of sensitivity information stored in the mobile terminal continues to increase, the security problem in the mobile terminal has gradually become the major concern of people. The mobile terminal can store contacts, message, photos for individual users, and store business enterprise data for enterprise users. If the mobile terminal does not receive proper care, the privacy data, such as messages, photos, contacts, may be accidentally seen or intended to steal. Even worse, if the mobile terminal is lost, not only will cause the leakage of privacy data, may also lead to the key business data exposure, causing great losses.Considering the problems above, based on the full research of the schemes of Android system’s security management at home and abroad, in thesis, we designed and implemented the software of mobile terminal security management system based on Android, giving full consideration to the practical application scenarios of mobile terminal access or no access to the Internet. This system adoptes B/S, C/S architecture, including security management platform and Android client. Security management platform provides remote security management service for user. Android client allows user to send instruction to mobile terminal to remotely locate and lock the mobile terminal or encrypt and decrypt data in it, which can protect privacy data and trace back the mobile terminal to reduce the privacy risk brought to users. The main work is as follows:(1) Through the study of the existing Android push mechanism, a message security push mechanism based on XMPP protocol was proposed in this thesis, and it adopts authentication based on elliptic curve cryptography and encryption technology to realize identity authentication of server and secure message transmission. Compared with the existing security mechanism of XMPP protocol, it has better security and more suitable for mobile devices which have limited computing capability.(2) The hierarchical architecture of system was designed in this thesis. Through studying on mobile terminal security management technology and theory achievements, we analyzed the design target of this system and research content, and further proposed the hierarchical architecture of system, which includes platform management layer, business support layer and terminal application layer.(3) This system surports device safety and data safety function of Android mobile terminal. Based on the proposed message security push mechanism and architecture of the system, and combined with the Android application development technology, the system realizes the functions of remote and local lock, location, remote data erasure, remote and local data encryption and decryption.(4) Finally, we evaluated the function, performance and adaptation of the system. From evaluation results, we can know that this system has reached the design target and can run normally in the most of the mobile terminals, which has some research value and application space.
