GMPLS and SDN are the most promising network technology. GMPLS can provide flexible dynamic bandwidth and improve the bandwidth utilization. GMPLS can also locate the network fault rapidly and is convenient for traffic engineering. SDN realizes the separation of control plane and data plane of traditional network. It makes network programmable and schedules the resources from a macro point. Although this two technology obtains widely research from the academic, there still be lack of parameters and method to characterize their control plane performance.Our research group has completed two RFCs in GMPLS control plane performance field. Recently we submitted an Internet-Draft in SDN control plane performance field. Those parameters can help designers, vendors and developers to design more stable application and form effective business model.On the one hand to verify the parameters and methods in these two RFCs and my draft, on the other hand to push my draft forward and provide support for the follow-up study in control plane, we design and implement the performance test framework in control plane.For relevant research in performance testing framework of control plane is limited, we do deep research in the framework of network performance test considering the similarity of their parameters and testing methods. Using the basic modules of network performance testing combine with the requirement features of control plane performance testing, we design and implement our framework. We verify the partial parameters and methods in there two RFCs and our draft. Finally we analyze the neck bottle of time performance of my framework and improve the stability and reduce the sending error of the framework using CPU-bind technology.
