The angle sensor is one of the most important sensor technologies, widely used in modern industrial applications such as aerospace, vehicles, industrial equipment and other aspects. The KMT32 B —--one advanced magneto resistive angle sensor with other similar products, has these advantages: Absolute, non-contact measurement, real-time solution point of view, and it has wide prospect.Firstly, because its measurement range is not enough, we design a special the sensor system to expand the measurement range of the magneto resistive angle sensor. According to the system, the 360 ° measurement range can be extended to 2160 °. The program effectively expands the scope of such magneto resistive sensor, expanding its field of application.Secondly, after analyzing the status of the angle sensor, we chosed a magneto resistive angle sensor----KMT32 B to build the angle measurement system. On the basis of the judgment and the processing abilities of MC9S08DZ60, we make an intelligent angle measuring system, realize the whole angle measurement.Last, for the problem that the system cannot carry out real-time measurement, we build a software platform with modular programming, Design algorithms calculate the angle according to signal acquisition. Finally, The system display information to the host computer and sent to the ECU by using CAN.The measurement result shows that the measurement of magneto resistive angle analyses prove that its impurity pollution and sensor is 0-359.95 and its accuracy improved. It is 0.8 range. The error performance would be more can overcome the mechanical vibration and small volume with low cost and,so it has capacious application foreground.
