Recently, the FM interference matters are frequent. The most serious interference is to the civil aviation communication. It will influence the flying safety of the airplane directly. How to solve the problem of FM interference, become the urgent study of the FM stations.The interference of FM broadcast is mainly shown as the IMD. There are many factors that influence the IMD, including the abnormal residual wave power, the falling isolation of the antenna system and the unreasonable design of the FM station.According to the actual cases of interfering civil aviation, through measuring the residual wave and the IMD’s frequency spectrum of each component of the FM transmitter system, the paper focuses on the characteristics of interference signal in the FM transmitter system, and puts forward the FM interference solution.The paper designs a detecting equipment of the FM transmitter system. It can detect the residual wave power(the 2rd harmonic) index of all transmitters in the FM station. When the index is unqualified, it can provide alarm to warn the operator to be careful. The equipment can improve the ability to deal with the interference of the FM station.The paper can solve the interference problem between the FM broadcast and the civil aviation communication.
