Heterogeneous networks is one of key technologies in LTE-A, which draw the distant closer between eNode B and UE. And expand the capacity; improve the quality in edge of the network. However it also causes new challenge, which is Inter-cell Interference Coordination.In this thesis the author has a depth discussion on eliminate Inter-cell Interference Coordination. After the analysis of the reason of Inter-cell Interference Coordination, then the author gives two ways to solve the problem.Firstly the author gives a basic analysis about Heterogeneous network structure and the Inter-cell Interference Coordination based on LTE-A. In this part we focus on two important scenarios, Macro-Pico and Macro-Femto including its deployment way, Interference reasons and the scheme to solve the problem.Then in Macro-Pico situation the author gives an eliminate Inter-cell Interference Coordination scheme depending on optimizing CRE bias and ABS ratio in time domain. In this part the Pico eNodeB coverage area can dynamic adjust and the can adjust the ABS ratio based on users in the expanded area in the Cell coverage. The simulation results show a big improvement on edge users’ throughput, 5% edge users throughput raise approximately 28%. The result verifies optimizing Cell Range Expansion(C RE) bias and Almost Blank Subframe(ABS) ratio in time domain can effectively eliminate Inter-cell Interference Coordination between Heterogeneous networks.The second method is dynamic adjusting the MeN B and HeN B frequency and power control based on MeNB users’ Interference in Macro-Femto situation. And the simulation result shows it is better than the basic scheme such as orthogonal frequency and Shared Spectrum division. The result verifies the scheme has obvious effect on eliminating Inter-cell Interference Coordination between Heterogeneous networks and improving users’ SINR and throughput.
