With the increasing demands on various applications, how to improve the system performance has become the core issue that researchers widespread concern. Cooperative communication has many advantages, such as expanding coverage, improving inter-cell interference, which is considered to be the key technology in the wireless communication. And network coding can increase the system throughput and transmission efficiency, has been widely used in wireless cooperative communication. However, as the multipath fading, there must be mis-transmission of information occurred in actual wireless cooperative relaying channels, which leads to a serious impact for the system performance improvement of network coding. Considering increase the reality of system transmission to make better use of network coding in wireless cooperative communication, joint design of network coding and Turbo codes is an effective solution. This paper studies a joint designed scheme based on decoding correction and compensation.Firstly, this paper describes the typical model of cooperative communication and several common relay protocol, then introduces the basic principle of network coding and makes a brief description of the basic principle of network coding. After that the paper summarizes some network coding cooperation modes used in wireless cooperative communication.Secondly, The paper elaborates the encoding and decoding principles of Turbo codes, analyses common decoding algorithms of Turbo codes. In addition, the paper studies three cooperation modes of Turbo codes in wireless cooperative communication system detailedly.Then, this paper introduces several traditional schemes about joint design of network coding and Turbo codes, and points that the scheme based on hard information causes a severe loss of decoding information at the destination node because of using hard decision in relay node. The scheme based on soft information is aimed at solving this problem by using soft decision in relay node. But this scheme improves the complexity of relay node processing.Finally, according to the traditional joint designed schemes, the paper studies a joint designed scheme based on decoding correction and compensation and applies it in two-user multiple access environment. This scheme s complexity in relay node is less than the joint design based on soft information. The simulation result shows that the decoding performance of research scheme is superior to the hard information based scheme and closed to soft information based scheme at high Signal Noise Ratio.
