A Novel Decoding Algorithm Of Network Coding And Its Joint Design With Turbo Codes

Network Coding is used in wireless cooperative communication system as a way to improvenetwork throughout.However,there must be mis-transmission of information occurred in actualwireless cooperative relaying channels,which leads to a serious impact for the system performanceimprovement of network coding in communication system.In order to ensure the reality ofinformation transmission and to further promote network capacity gain caused by network coding incommunication system，joint design of Turbo codes and network coding is an effective solution.Thespecific contents of this paper are as follows:（1） This paper introduces two transmission models and related relaying protocols in cooperativecommunication,then describes the basic principle of network coding and conducts acomparative analysis of the application of network coding in wireless communicationnetwork.After that this paper summarizes some network coding cooperation modes used inmultiple access system and two-way relay system.（2） The paper elaborates the encoding and decoding principles of Turbo codes,analyses commondecoding algorithms of Turbo codes and several factors affecting the performance of Turbocodes.In addition,the paper combines Turbo codes with wireless cooperative communicationsystem and studies three cooperation modes of Turbo codes detailedly.（3） This paper introduces traditional solutions of joint design,and points that hard informationbased scheme causes a severe loss of decoding information at the destination node becauseof using hard decision in relay node.Application of soft information based scheme is aimedat solving this problem by using soft decision in relay node.But this scheme improves thecomplexity of relay node processing.（4） Taking account of decoding error between user node and relay node,the paper studies adecoding algorithm of cooperative network coding based on information correction andcompensation.Then this paper studies a joint designed scheme based on informationcorrection and compensation for the two existing schemes.The simulation result shows thatthe decoding performance of research program is superior to the hard information basedscheme and closed to soft information based scheme at high Signal Noise Ratio.
