Industrial wireless sensor networks (IWSNs) consist of a large number of nodes which are deployed in the monitoring area. IWSNs have been widely used in the industrial field due to the advantages of low cost, fast deployment and flexible networking compared with wired communication networks. IWSNs have greater determinism and reliability requirements than ordinary wireless networks. Transmission scheduling is an important approach to improve wireless network performance. The thesis analyzes the characteristics of wireless sensor networks and designs the specific scheduling scheme based on time-division multiplexing IWSNs, then carries out the simulation and analysis. The main contents of this thesis are as follow:(1) A slot allocation prototype based scheduling method is proposed accordance with the condition of fixed job cycles. The slot allocation prototype is constructed according to the network topology and transmission conflicts. The slot interval is determined depends on the slot conflict matrix to ensure the normal execution of network, then slot allocation instance is generated dynamically and the actual transmission and reception slots of nodes are allocated.(2) A distance matrix based scheduling method is proposed accordance with the condition of variable job cycles. The method constructs the distance matrix according to the slot allocation prototype, then generates the slot allocation instance dynamically. Finally, the actual transmission and reception slots of nodes are allocated.(3) The simulation is carried out using ns-3 on the premise of different network scales and query frequencies.
