With rapid development of industry informatization, good performances of Industrial Wireless Networks, especially the low delay performance, are urgently required. Therefore, data link layer techniques which have great influences on network delay become current research focus.Nevertheless, existing data link techniques cannot meet industrial demands. On one hand, control packets used for reserving channel in contention based protocols bring low efficiency in delay performance, especially for IWNs which are characteristic in short data packets. On the other hand, due to restriction of the traditional single user channel access model, centralized scheduling protocols can hardly satisfy the delay requirement when the number of UEs is large. To address above problems, two algorithms termed as Asynchronous Probabilistic Carrier Sense Multiple Access(APCSMA)and Minimum Length uplink scheduling with Optimized Power Consumption for Successive Interference Cancellation(MLOPSIC)are proposed.Based on the constant backoff time and probabilistic transmission scheme,APCSMA algorithm minimizes transmission delay by optimizing transmission probability and retry times. With Successive Interference Cancellation(SIC)technique,MLOPSIC algorithm grades all transmitters by a metric which takes both distance and maximal power into considerations. The minimum frame length is then got based on the pigeon hole principle. The transmitter's powers are further optimized based on the minimum frame length by minimizing their aggregate power consumption.
