Nowadays, the car has become the most convenient tool which plays a vital role in improving the quality of life for people. However, the rapidly growing number of cars is in stark contrast to the park available resources, drivers can hardly find parking spaces. Parking problems are becoming a key factor that affecting people’s driving experience gradually.According to the analysis, generalize and summarize of existing solutions on others’ paper, we propose a recognizing and querying park-ports system based on smart phones which has used internet technology, smart phone sensor technology and pattern recognition technology. Afterwards, the Data Collect APP and Easy Park APP have been designed by us, auto parking ports detecting and parking ports querying function under the overall analysis of system and practical application. The function of parking ports self-identification by smartphones is our focal point, after data preparation, data processing, feature selection and classic pattern recognition algorithm comparison, we decide to use Random Forest algorithm (RF) to classify the triaxial acceleration sensor data and GPS data because of this algorithm’s high accuracy. Auto-defined data exchange protocol is used to communication between client and server. In addition, under the comprehension of the best user experience, we designed the function of sub-modules in this application, such as user registration, user login and user scoring. After tested this application by real drive, the result shows that the system can meet users’needs basically and can help Parking Guidance and Information System to decrease invalid parade, reduce the time of parking and ease parking pressure, thus it can improve parking speed efficiency. Finally, this paper summarizes the content problems of this research and makes some suggestions for further research.
