Design And Realization Of Wireless Desktop Order Management System

The restaurant industry is a traditional and modern industry. With the progress of technology, the smart phone and the tablet based on the Android are popular and gets promoted, in which the tablet(PAD) becomes the important equipment for people to get information and entertainment. At present, the consumption groups are younger and more fashionable, which bring the great challenges to the traditional business model. How to stimulate the customers’ appetite, improve food sales, update the dishes according to the needs, carry on promotion flexibly, guide the customers to consume, increase sales income, strengthen the customers’ stickiness, reduce errors at work, has become challenge for restaurant industry.System specification was the result of a rigoros analysis of system needs. This was followed by high lever and detailed design of the system, system development deployed Struts framework, followed the technical specifications development, software engineering and database paradigm design theory and the related design technology, adhere to the design principle of modern mobile terminal system, using the software development technology JSP application development technology and Android platform. As a result, an android platform based on wireless desktop system has been developed. System functions include basic operation parameter setting, financial statistics, system settings, membership management, booking management, employee management etc..On the basis of the above, related development tools were used, in developing the system code, the system has under gone series of test. Test and actual implementation result shows that the system has completed function ability, good robust has good interface navigation capability, the system performs according to goals of the project, the software has smart and efficient operation, has good expandability and strong background management functionality, can meet the demand of a data-driven restaurant.
