The Engineering & Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology was founded in 2000, and its campus network building started in 2004. The campus network adopts static IP address access, with the IP address bound by the real-name user. Its charging mode ismonthly payment. Along with rapid development of the college, the number of teachers andstudents is over 20000. User volume of campus network has been form less than 2000 in the initial period of construction to 15000 currently. As a result, the network has beenconstantly upgraded, and the workload has greatly increased. However, there’s no improvement in the traditional operating methods, such as writing paper net application,manually allocating IP address information, manually registering and distributing maintenance note, manually paying renewal fees. These working modes have obviously not met the demands of large scale users on the campus network. The network center has to add more employees and extra work to solve these problem. Facing constantly upgraded network and more and more users, the college network center has largely increased management difficulty. To fully use a large-scale network, the management of network is a crucial factor,of which the user-oriented management is considered as a priority for all. For this reason, we have to consider setting up a scientific network and user administration system, thus to respond to the present situation.This paper mainly discusses how to utilize the framework technology SSH(Struts + Spring + Hibernate) of J2 EE to realize the user management system of campus network. The whole process of system development is introduced, from system development background,demand analysis, general design, detailed design to the test of the system. It involves three user roles: user, maintainer and administrator. There are three subsystems: user subsystem, maintainer subsystem and administrator subsystem, so as to mainly realize four functionsuser module, network information module, breakdown report module and feeing module, as well as to provide related services to the users, such as the public platform of WeChat.In this system, users can enjoy net application online, automatic allocation of IP address information, breakdown report online and renewal fees online. All the businesses can be processed online, so as to offer convenient services to the users and largely reduce theworkload of network center. In addition, the report function in this system can make theadministrators understand and manage the whole network more easily.The system of our school adopts HTML4+CSS2+JQuery1.7 to realize the development and control of user interface. The interface is beautiful, simple, generous, practical, and easy to operate.
