The Research Of Deconstruction And Reconstruction On Field-spread Of Traditional Performing Art By New Media

This research takes the concept of three media systems which suggested by American communication scholar A · Hart as a research viewpoint and theoretical framework.It also takes the communication field of traditional performing arts which evolved from a single physical space to a multiple composition as a main clue.It investigates and discusses a variety of communication forms and changes of the Chinese traditional performing arts, analyses the communicate propagation of traditional performing arts in different media platforms under the different media systems.Traditional performing art is extensive and profound. It takes the local opera, folk art, shadow play, acrobatics, puppetry, Chinese folk music and so on as the representatives. The rich characteristics of performing organization forms have been used ever since, showing the charm of Chinese traditional culture. This paper argues that during the long time of development,the interaction and exchange of information of traditional performing arts’ disseminators and recipients has been evolved into a more fixed pattern, which are derived from a certain space of media function in the field. These space of fields can be regarded as a "field medium". The dissemination of the traditional performing arts is based on a certain "field medium"platform.The traditional performing art is restricted by the media system and must be transmitted in one time and one place.In modern society, the new media such as broadcast, television and network have been springing up rapidly.They have brought artistic dissemination to mechanical media system. The physical space type "field medium"is deconstructed by which relies on the traditional performing arts had a tremendous impact, which spreads in the showing media system. The traditional Chinese performing art has gradually declined over a period of time.However, with the further development of network and new digital media,especially with interactive significantly improved and becomes more and more important. In Web2.0,the spread forms of traditional performing art has been reconstructed under the new media technology and the background of audience demand, so the "new field medium"has been formed. This "new field medium" type oversteps the original one which only happens at the same time, same place and the same time.It is to a great extent closed to the theory of cultural in the meaning of the concept of "field(field)" which proposed by the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu,which is regarded as a category which forms the bounding relationship of social, spiritual contact. So it can provide a more convenient and efficient platform for the spread of traditional culture and performing arts.
