Virtual Private Network is a n Internet technology and communication technology combi ned with the product, but also c ontributed t o the objective needs of VPN technology theory and implementation te chniques bur st Mengjin development. I Psec VPN remote access technology i s mainly used within the networ k, making it easy for mobile office, VPN tec hnology also provides protection for the content of the commu nication, to pre vent theft and tamper ing, but als o on the re source se rver security.With the development of security technology VPN te chnology favored by the publ ic,which provide IPsec VPN technology because of the confidentiality and int egrity and to have unive rsal a pplic ation, can provide economica l, sa fe and re lia ble telecommunications services.On the basis of Eaborating the s tation at home and abroad and the key technology of the IPsec VPN, this article a nalyse t he requement of the I Psec VPN in the gateway of Li nux environment.For t he sec urity pr ombems of the IP prot ocol,t he technology related to t he AH and ESP is used,a nd at the same time, Symmetric-Key Cryptography( DES),public-key Cryptogr aphy(RSA), mes sage digest and Digital Signature are all also used to provide the confident ial ity and the integrity,so that it can make up for the IP deficiencies.What’s more,for the process of Int ernet key exchange fragile to attack,IKE protocol and Diffile-Hellman algorithm is used to provide se curity me ssures for the internet key exc hange.Finally,the system is teste d and the result shows that the design and implication is all right a nd it i s st able through the running.What’s more,the system impleme nted in this article can al so be improved in t erms of the control of background and the efficiency of the algorithm.
