Professional project constructions have been engaged in modern construction enterprises. For professional project management, due to huge projects it often manages,long project cycles and large investment amounts, moreover, numerous participants including construction enterprises, supervision enterprises, suppliers and first party, etc,high demands on management efficiency and accuracy of project management are required. Thus, a large number of construction enterprises have to adopt modern management ideas to improve its management methods.In the process of informationization of projects in China, a lot of problems have arisen, specifically in the huge investment, not a corresponding improved efficiency,low level of the construction and frequently rework engineering and so on; for some foreign advanced products, since they do not have enough understanding of China’s national conditions and are not familiar with the domestic market environment. If it is used directly without modification, often resulting in the loss of desired effect and not only a waste of manpower, material and financial resources, but also the loss of market and competition in the whole process of informationizaiton.According to the problems mentioned above, in this paper, we starts from the actual demand of Chinese construction enterprises. Based on the references of domestic and international construction project management literature, we analyze the characteristics and methods of construction project management in China and describe a whole solution including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and final implementation. In order to speed up the development process of the system, the rapid prototyping method has been used in the phase of system architecture design. By comparing the current mainstream development and architecture design framework,appropriate architectural approaches and implementation frameworks are chosen, and process managements of construction project management are completed; Building on the analysis of user requirements and the characteristics during the project management processes of construction enterprises, the bidding management of construction projects,marketing management, contract management, revenue management, subcontractmanagement and materials management are implemented. Furthermore, approval process, transfer of control documents, special processing of encryption in data security and control of user privileges are realized. It provides a strong foundation for the construction of informationization in enterprises.This paper describes the architecture and overall design of the system hosted by the author. Through a comprehensive test of the system, the design and implementation presented in this paper reach the detail requirements of the contract. The system has been actually run for six months in Henan ** Engineering Construction Ltd.. Based on feedbacks of users, it is very successful to solve the foretime main crux, to improve the quality of project management and enhance the economic efficiency of enterprises.
