The Design And Implementation Of Monitor Platform For Portable Mrmory Device

Mobile storage devices with its flexible and convenient features play an increasingly important role in the daily transmission of information. But the current management and usage of the mobile storage device which is lack of strict confidentiality management, is not very standard. It makes the information environment of business unit, groups of individuals facing serious security risks.The system implemented in this thesis has many virtues, some of them are as following:(1)The system based on a structure combined Client-Server(C/S) model and stand-alone model, which makes the system easy to use and manage.(2)Providing a friendly user interface, through which users can view log file and do a series of things like importing data.(3)The system supports many portable memory devices, like USB devices, CD-ROM and hard disks.To solve this problem, designing and implementing a platform for monitoring and managing mobile storage device is raised. With a combination of C/S and stand-alone mode, this paper achieves the monitoring and management of the mobile storage devices. The storage devices registered can be used safely inside the platform, and the other is forbidden, It is has no effect for all the devices being used outside.Finally, each module has a unit testing in detail. Then the function and performance of the platform are tested completely. The results show that the mobile storage devices monitoring and managing platform is able to monitor and manage the mobile storage devices which access to the client efficiently and reliably.
