Design And Implementation Of Weifang Vocational College Students Online Course Selection System

Weifang Vocational College is a full-time vocational college, the "Student Online Enrollment System" currently used by the college is a very old one, the management methods of this system is very obsolete, and is of low working efficiency. With the development of the college, the system is under increasing pressure, and is exposing a large number of problems, not only seriously affected the efficiency of student enrollment, but also add a lot of extra burden to the teachers. Therefore, the development of an efficient and intelligent “Online Enrollment System” has become imperative, and is also the main objective of this paper.Through the detailed analysis of the enrollment business of Weifang Vocational College, this paper established the related functional and performance requirements, and through the Use Case Diagram and the related constraints, this paper defined the requirements of this system. Combined with the relevant requirements defined, this paper conducted a preliminary design of the system in general. The system is divided to 5 models, these are “Management for Student Information”, “Management for Teacher Information”, “Course Management”, “Curriculum Management”, “System Management”, then partition and designed the sub-functional modules for each module. On this basis, the design of some sub-functional modules are described in detail, and some "core code" and "screenshots of UI" are used to describe the specific implementation of this system.In this thesis, to achieve "Student Online Enrollment System ", we used BS(Browser / Server) module, the user can access through any browser. Development of this system is based on the popular MVC architecture, as well as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, relational database technology, this ensured that the system is a stable and advanced one.Finally, the system has been associated with functional and performance testing, and the test results were analyzed to prove that the system has covered all the functions required by users, and is of high performance, and can meet all the relevant needs of users, the development of this system is successful.
