The Design And Implementation Of Shuxi Law Firm Management System

In recent years, with the rapid development of the lawyer profession in China, the demands for the efficiency and quality of legal service have increased greatly. As the main body for providing legal service, for the law firms, the service effect and service level of them have become important decisive factors that could constrain the development of them. ShuXi law firm is a medium-scale law firm which has over 10 lawyers, and at present, the management mode of Shu Xi is still the traditional handwork mode. With the gradual expansion of its business scope, this traditional management mode has exposed some problems, such as the delay case processing information, the unclear work arrangements of lawyers, and the disordered document management and so on. These problems have restricted the legal service efficiency and the business development speed of the law firm seriously.Combined with the scientific management mode, by the adoption of software development technology including object-oriented technology, database technology and so on, the research content of this thesis is to design and realize a law firm management system which is suitable for ShuXi law firm. Through applying this system, the work efficiency and management level of ShuXi law firm can be enhanced effectively. The chief study works are as follows:1) The in-depth study of the current operation mode and business process of ShuXi law firm.Based on the above investigation, this thesis collects and summarizes the functional requirements of this system, it also analyses the problems of the current management mode, and finally it proposes the feasible solution to these problems from informatization standpoint. Especially for the nucleus business of ShuXi law firm, such as case registration, case acceptance, case filing and so on, this thesis specifically analyzes the mothod to improve the work efficiency of these the nucleus business by the means of information, and it considers seriously these factors in the process of the design and implementation of the system.2) The in-depth research on the system realization architecture.In consideration of the actual main business scope and characteristics of ShuXi law firm, this thesis finally decides to adopt the B/S model to realize this law firm management system, thus it is easy for the lawyers of the firm to login and use this system whenever and wherever. For the system architecture, this thesis decides to apply the classic three-layer architecture which has been applied widely; this architecture can ensure the stability and extendibility of the system effectively.3) The study and research on the software development technology.This thesis makes an in-depth study and research on the software development technology, including the object-oriented technology, database design and implementation technology, software testing technology and so on, and this study provides a solid theoretic foundation for the realization of this subject. Finally this thesis decides to use the high-level programming language C# under.NET and the relational database Microsoft SQL Server to realize this system.
