With the rapid development of information technology, digital campus has been the important task of informatization and the sign of university modernization. As the main carrier of information construction, campus network security has become the essential issue concerned in the current universities’ network construction. Therefore, building a comprehensive information security management and defense system is an important prerequisite for the digital campus safety. In view of the internal unsafe operation and behavior, the paper research and design the information security management and defense system. The system provides an interactive, multi-level security protection to achieve efficient operation for the digital campus.First, this paper comprehensively analyzes the information security situation of the digital campus, build the overall safety framework. Then, the paper introduces the key technologies including Security authentication technology, Distributed Agent technology, Winsock2 SPI technology, such as HOOK Technology.Based on above expatiation, the paper proposes the architecture of the system and divides into three sub-systems: control server, user terminal console and user console. We focus on introducing the design of security authentication, Agent filtering, document directory security monitoring, network connectivity monitoring, the mobile storage equipment monitoring, program behavior monitoring, and other major modules. Through the research of SPI packet filtering, the system realize the function of Agent interception/filter; Using anti-kill Process technology to protect the monitor process; For the classified data security store requirements, We design and realize the documents protected areas; and use the network interception and HOOK technology to solve the illegal terminal access block and the network block; As well as the mobile storage equipment registration, the black/white lists of process, and other important functions.Finally, we test and assess the system, sum up the paper and point out the direction of future research.
