With the development of the Internet of Things Industry and the improved performances of the mobile terminal devices, intelligent logistics has obtained the rapid development, and the mobile terminal devices will inevitably become essential in intelligent logistics. With this trend, it is of great importance and significant value to realize the real-time tracking and monitoring with mobile devices in warehouse management system in intelligent logistics.A great number of problems have been revealed with the continuous development of warehousing industry. The requirements of warehouse management are gradually increasing. Tedious management leads to a higher requirement for human resource. Massive data information would be lost easily, and searched difficultly. It is hard to monitor and regulate the storage environment in time when the warehouse requires a better one. There are also requirements for a portable and prompt warehouse management system.Aiming at solving these problems mentioned above, this paper designs and realizes a main program in Android client of warehouse management system. With the consideration of the functional requirements of warehouse management system and the practical situation of Android system, the function modules and the overall structure for Android client in warehouse management system are also designed here. Moreover, a new warehouse ontology model is proposed.The major contributions are described as follows:(1) The basic functions of warehouse management system are designed. A warning of the temperature and humidity limits is designed in the monitoring function. The identification of users is used to prevent items stolen. And based on the analysis, the function modules are designed.(2) Based on the requirements of the function modules, the functions of Android client are programmed by Java. After some tests of the Android client, it is convenient to monitor the whole process of warehouse management.(3) This paper also put up with a new warehouse ontology model. The warehouse ontology is built by protégé with an appropriate method. This scheme can realize the query of the data of storage items as well as the information of the category and related products. A complete data would avail the promotion and popularization of the products.
