There are varieties of communication equipments and different original call or service record formats,if we do billing process on the original records of different communication devices directly, the billing procedures will communicate with the communication equipments, that will affect the modification and upgrading of billing procedures adversely, even affect the development of new business and increase the costs of maintenance and development. Therefore, after gathering billing raw date from different business, we need to standardize corresponding format in order to make the same business have a unified standard format and record length, which can help us identify its business lines easily, and contains various data of business. The Boss Bill Preprocessor System is responsible for completing such work. The main functions of the Boss Bill Preprocessor System are to complete the data extraction, data validation and record standardization of heterogeneous original bill file. This system runs on the pretreatment-side, residents in memory; scans billing data queue all the time; once a new billing data file generated, it carried out data extraction, data validation and record standardization. This thesis analyzes the functional requirements of the Boss Bill Preprocessor System, and designs its physical structure, logical architecture, workflow, internal data structure, function modules, performance optimization and exception handling mechanism. It also describes the main classes and shows the realization effects and test results. The system has been put into use, and is running in good condition, which embodies its efficiency, accuracy and flexibility. It has brought good social and economic benefits.
