No scanning 3D imaging radar rapidly development in recent years, it has more smaller volume、 higher frame rate and higher range precision compared with the previous scanning imaging radar, and currently it has play a significant role in the collision avoidance、navigation、construction surveying、disaster warning and medical aspects, so it’s studying draws the attention of the world. According to the different ranging methods of the no scanning 3D imaging radar, we can divide it into direct ranging type 3D imaging radar and indirect ranging type 3D imaging radar.The direct ranging type 3D imaging radar refers to that the each pixel of the detector can independently measure the round-trip time of the light pulse, then get the range of the target, well such kind of radar put forward high requirements of the detector’s technology, the cost is higher and the pixels of the detector is not enough; The indirect ranging type 3D imaging radar refers to that the detector is used to receive the echo of the modulated light and get the information of the echo intensity, then demodulate the intensity information and get the range information. This kind of radar use the 2D sensor array like CCD or CMOS as the detector, it put forward not that high requirements of the detector’s technology and the number of the pixels can be millions, therefore the majority of no scanning 3D imaging radar are the indirect ranging type. There are a variety of indirect ranging radar such as phase method radar、FM/CW method radar、pulse method radar、gain modulation radar and range-gated radar, well the most of these radar use modulated high-power laser source and expensive receive device like ICCD or MCP, this make the cost of this type radar is high and hard to realize, so many of these radar are not easy to application.This type based on the analysis of these theories and put forward a new system of no scanning 3D imaging radar. This system use high-power LED array as the light source and use the array-CCD with the variable electronic shutter as the receive device to achieve the 3D imaging of the target in a certain distance.There are four main parts in this text, the first part is the light source module, this module is used to generate the pulse source; the second part is the echo receive module, the array-CCD ICX204 AL is used to detector the echo light and change it into the electronic signal; the third part is A/D change module, the AD80066 is used to translate the analog signal into digital signal; the fourth part is data transmission module, the USB2.0 is used to realize the high speed data transmission and the data will be processed in the computer.
