Equipment is an important part of power companies, and takes up the largest proportion in the gross amount of capital of power enterprise. Whether the safe operation of power system equipment is directly related to the reliability and security of transmission network. Thus the security of power supply equipment are very concerned issue by every power enterprise, defect management is also one of important key for power supply enterprise production management. Utilizing the traditional Statistics methods can not meet the security and economy needs, so a scientific management system is needed.First,This paper analyzes the management mode and the status of the device defect management system, aiming at the existing management problems, combined with the workflow management mechanism to improve the management process. Then, to analysis and study the related technical on the development of systems, and to determine the technical solutions. The system uses the ASP.NET development framework, foreground uses ASP and Java Scrip, CSS, etc. WEB technology for web design, and Back-end database management system uses SQL Server 2005, eventually we developed a Web-based application of electrical equipment defect management system. Functions include system management module, the data management module, the defect workflow management module, the device defect management module, the log information management module. Finally, the system is deployed to test system functionality and performance, the WEB server using IIS service, complete. Test results show that the system basically meet the needs analysis, and operation is stable.This paper describes development status and new breakthroughs of the defect management system, and describes the research significance.Given the non-functional and functional requirements analysis, we study the key technology of system development. Then,Design and Implement of the equipment defect management system, and gthe function and performance are tested.
