With the pace of the rapid development of information science and technology, a lot of system pay more attention to the safety problems, therefore, reliable and safe identity as the recognition of many systems of choice for security applications.Fingerprint identification technology is so far the most widely used personal identity authentication technology, the fingerprint of stability and uniqueness is more determined the status of the application of fingerprint identification technology,in the progress of the computer at the same time, the fingerprint identification technology and algorithm are also constantly improve, even fingerprint sensor performance has been greatly promoted, especially the public security department,ministry of public security as a forensic institutions, in charge of all the information of population, and fingerprint as the main characteristics of people, also got the high attention of the public security department, so the high quality of fingerprint image information acquisition technology has become the ministry of public security,security areas and identity the focus of research.This paper studies the main content of the fingerprint image acquisition system is based on the ARM of the public security department,the design and implementation of the fingerprint image acquisition based on the public security department requirements,design and implementation of a set of information acquisition system.This paper studied the fingerprint image processing algorithms, mainly including the type of fingerprint image, the fingerprint image processing process, etc.Fingerprint image acquisition system based on ARM is mainly includes fingerprint image acquisition and transmission module, according to the acquisition system design and architecture, and combined with the latest science and technology in the field of study in this major development present situation, this paper identified by stmicroelectronics(ST) company STM32F103 VE processors and GC0307 image sensor at the core of system construction scheme.System design and implementation of cling to the actual needs of the public security department, and implements a set of based on embedded ARM and Linux operating system of CMOS fingerprint image acquisition identification system, the cost is low but the performance is very high.Of fingerprint image acquisition system isstudied in this paper the hardware module implementation, including processor and image sensor selection, the software part of embedded Linux development environment is studied in detail structures, and drive GC0307 image sensor, the ultimate in VS2010 platform structures, the fingerprint image acquisition system client module, the experimental results show that this paper studies based on ARM of the fingerprint image acquisition can be fingerprinted, and be able to achieve the ultimate goal of fingerprint identification authentication.
