Vocational education has accounted for a larger proportion in higher education. The number of the higher vocational education graduates increased dramatically, the students’ internship and employment are big major problems in higher vocational colleges. On the one hand, students can not find internship or employment units conveniently and easily. On the other hand, it is so difficult for enterprises to hire employees. At the same time, with the rapid development the computer technology and communication technology, every industry has stepped into the information era. In order to achieve the informatization construction of graduate employment work, and improve the quality and quantity of graduates’ employment, our college decided to research employment information management platform based on Internet and complete campus network. Through the employment information platform, we can release information to employer, and also can release the information such as recruitment and employment to students, so it is a convenient and applicable operating platform for employers.Online employment information service platform adopts B/S mode structure, and the front desk, and uses hypertext language(HTML) and Java Script scripting language to build the page. The background structures use ASP language combined with SQL Server 2005 database technology. According to software engineering construction method, we first have carried out the demand analysis to the platform, and we used UML object-oriented modeling technology to get use case diagram of platform users. Through the normal user operation client(anonymous users), graduates user operation client, and department administrator users operation client, employer user operation client, and employment administrator user operation client, we have carried on the detailed design of the platform, including architecture design, functional design, database design, the main implementation process design and security design. Architecture adopts B/S architecture. Employment information platform are based on Internet technology. Information is released and collected through the network. In the B/S architecture system, the users can requests to the server through a browser. The server deals with the browser’s request. The user information which you need is returned to the client, and simplifies the deployment of the client. Function design is based on seven modules which are information check module, the graduate job search module, employer module, the graduates’ resource check module, the graduates’ employment guidance module, online consulting module and platform management module. Information resource check module, the graduates resource check module, employment guidance module, online consulting module are designed as public modules which are available for all users(the anonymous users). The database is designed with the E-R diagram first, and then the corresponding table structure according to the need of function. Finally, we planed the detailed design. Safety designs are used in the detailed design, mainly from aspects of the user login design, graduates information management, information search, online consulting, employment guidance and so on.After the test, the employment information service platform has been commissioning, which has the functions like employment information, student management, graduates resume release, online consultation and information transfer function. We still use various techniques to improve performance of the platform and achieve humanized operation and it has achieved the desired design effect.
