With the high demands on the quality of service, users desperately expect that they can enjoy network services of high quality anytime anywhere. Therefore, under such an environment, NGI (Next Generation Internet) comes into the view of the public, which is characterized by providing quality assurance for the faster, more secure, and more convenient communication technology. At the same time, as the representative of the transport layer in the Next Generation Internet, CMT protocol, to some extent, has solved the network problems at the present stage, and in which the research of ESMP’s key technology has important theoretical significance and application value.Limited by various conditions, the application of CMT has not yet been universal, but it has been regarded as the main protocol of NGI to study. In recent years, functions of the CMT protocol have been constantly improved and expanded so as to meet transmission’s demand of mobility and reliability. But CMT only ensures the CMT in transport player, fails to know about the forwarding situation of the real data in the network layer via using the path. If the functions of the multipath were made full use of to improve the throughput, CMT should be employed in network layer simultaneously. With the existence of ECMP, how do realize the resources of multipath transport being effectively used in CMT are one of the hot topics in the current study.Based on the analysis of multipath transmission which includes the multipath transmission technology in transport layer and in the network layer, this paper realizes the simulation algorithm’s writing of ECMP and the application of ECMP in CMT. Through simulation experiment, the research found that the bandwidth ratio and the time delay ration of ECMP route’s direct route and alterative route in ideal context could multiply the throughput of CMT, whereas when the bandwidth ratio and the time delay ration of ECMP route’s direct route and alterative route deviate from the impact factor R(1,1-8), the existence of ECMP would have negative effects on CMT. The paper would have a further exploration of the reasons why ECMP has negative influence on CMT and advanced a scheme to reduce the negative influence, that is, the application of dynamic ECMP in CMT, DS-ECMP-CMT. The result indicated that the scheme of DS-ECMP-CMT could effectively solve the problems of ECMP route applying into CMT.
