Against the backdrop of rapid global economic development, the new financial instruments and concepts keep popping up, thus exerting substantial bearings on the traditional family and individual finance. Many residents have accumulated abundant assets besides the money spent on housing, vehicles, stocks, stocks and insurance. Under such circumstances, how to distribute and manage the financial assets has become the priority demands for the residents. The progress in information and internet technology has provided powerful technical support for the development of financial management system, which ensures the transition from the delayed, static partial accounting to real-time, dynamic overall management. It means that the family financial management system that operates on the internet will lead the development trend by finally replacing the traditional desktop management system.Through the intimate analysis of the system structure, database design and key technology of family financial management system based on B/S model, this thesis offers a systematic introduction to the development model of B/S system as well as the current status and development of its structure and an illustration of the system structure by means of structural design, DFD, flow chart and E-R. Finally, a family financial management system based on B/S model is finally set up. Java is adopted as the development language for the system. Meanwhile, the JSP technology is utilized for the development of dynamic webpage with SQL Server2005 serving as the database for the storage and extraction of background data and Eclipse 3.1 as the development platform. The design of the system is subject to the performance specification documents of software development and executed from the perspectives of demand analysis, overall design, system programming, software testing, hardware and software maintenance and re-development and planning. The database is designed and optimized in terms of relation normalization theory, conception framework design, logical structure design as well as the security and integrity of the database with the analysis of network and data security included. In this thesis, authentication, limits of authority and encryption as well as other technologies are utilized to protect the network and manage the security of the information system. In accordance with the actual condition of the ordinary families, the system functions are designed and realized, including the system management function, revenue and expenditure control functions, statistical management function, credit control functions and investment management functions. By giving thought to their actual needs in family financial management, the users are allowed to choose one or more small functional modules from the large modules and complete the family finance management through the usage of each module functions.This system requires the users to operate on computers. The simple and friendly interface operation as well as applicable and convenient system functions could better meet the demands for family finance management while enhancing the efficiency with its instant and appropriate collection and browsing of information. As long as the computer is connected with the network, the users could access the system through browsers so as to fulfill the demands for the performance of timeliness, stability, reliability and efficiency.
