The Design And Implementation Of Dormitory Management System Of Zhejiang Sci-tech University

The development of information technology affects all aspects of living and learning, including student dormitory management. Management level and ability of the student domitory not only affect the interests of the students, but also ensure the stability of the school teaching order. School enrollment scale is becoming larger than everbefore; more and more students will study and live in the campus. If they are managed not well, it will bring big problems, such as: available dormitories will become increasingly scarce. Therefore, how to reasonablely distribute and allocate dormitories is an important issue as well as how to improve the service level, and the quality of dormitory management. Undoubtedly, the development of information systems plays an important role in this process.This thesis makes use of existing information technology by considering the situation of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University dormitory management to research and develop the dormitory management system. Firstly, research background and significance of dormitory management information systems are described. Secondly, the relevant technologies and concepts, including the ASP.NET technology, database technology are described in details. Then the system analysis, including feasibility analysis and demand analysis, are illustrated. Among them, the feasibility analysis includes economic feasibility, technical feasibility, schedule feasibility, social feasibility while needs analysis includes functional requirements analysis and non-functional requirements analysis. Following the first three sections, the system design is presented, including system design principles, system design objectives, system architecture design, system function modules, the system analysis of the role and the system database design. Finally, the implementation and the testing of the system are illustrated. By executing the test cases, the consistency between the implemented functions and the needs analysis are verified.The existing mature software system thinking is used, the dormitory management information system are developed using the ASP.NET technology and the B/S structure.The whole system can improve the efficiency of the school dormitory management, at the same time avoid the dormitory management of statistical error, strengthen the management of the whole dormitory data sharing, and finally promote the logistics socialization reform of the school.
