Under the policy environment of promoting teaching information system application in our country, the fast development of information technology provides good technical support for teaching information system application. Introducing modern information network technology and modern educational technology to build a new teaching style has become a effective measure for teaching innovation application. The network teaching application system has also been widely used, and greatly improves teaching quality and efficiency. However, traditional network teaching platforms are mainly designed based on technologies such as E-mail, BBS and so on, which can provide learners with learning resources, discussion, messages and other functions, provide a convenient tool for the exchange of information. But there are obvious deficiencies such as user experience and system performance. Synchronous communication mode enables the user to page appear white screen, the user network teaching operation is complicated, not good to the user’s visual experience and inconsistent operating experience. In terms of system performance, each page request must update the synchronous communication interactive mode and network bandwidth which bring a lot of pressure. The increasing popularity of online teaching and high quality of diversified network elements result in system performance degradation.The rapid spread of a new generation internet applications based on Web2.0 is good to promote the improvement of network teaching application system. Aiming at the existing problems of traditional network teaching platform, the thesis designs and constructs network teaching platform based on Web2.0 technology. Firstly the thesis analyzes corresponding technologies and main problems of traditional network teaching platform system. Then functional requirements and non-functional requirements are proposed. And the overall design of the network teaching platform is demonstrated including technical route, system functional modules, data conceptual structure and so on. On the same time, the thesis focuses on the detailed design and implementation of user management, course management and interactive communication function module. The thesis introduces Ajax technology in system user login management, preparation room and curriculum schedule management module, and used RSS technology in interactive communication function module. The thesis constructs network teaching platform based on Web2.0 technology applying framework design and hierarchical design theory, which is helpful to improve the main problems, user experience and system performance.
