With the development of computer science and technology, especially the progress of video coding technology, application of stereo video scene is more and more widely. Also, as people are getting more and more interested in the 3D video, stereo video codec technology gets an unprecedented development. Although the three-dimensional technology is widely used at this stage, deficiencies still exist. For example, people need to wear special auxiliary glasses to see the stereoscopic video. Furthermore, longtime watching may cause dizzy and body unwell, which seriously constrained the development of stereoscopic video and led to the budding of naked eye 3D video. Similarly, some technical difficulties of naked eye 3D technology have not been settled, such as transmission of big data, fusion of data’s encoding and decoding, the problem that the naked eye cannot be directly encoded to 3D video and store, even the hardware issues people are facing with. MVC video coding technology, as the representative of the lots of excellent multiview video coding technologies, still need to take multiple video files encoded as separate video files in the coding of multiple video. Due to above reason, the big data transmission problem with naked eye 3D have not been solved. This paper mainly studies how to solve the transmission problem of big network data. According to the method of this paper, naked eye 3D can transmit data information on the network in traditional way as 2D video without using any additional resources.This thesis studies to build a complete codec system through which naked eye 3D video and Depth image can be coded simultaneously in PC environment by using the method which mainly base on H.264 video codec technology to hide the Depth image into the video.This paper mainly relates to work as follows: Firstly,it explained the video codec design process from the whole framework, introduced the origin and idea of steganography algorithm, and analyze the possibility of using steganography algorithm from the coding structure of H.264.Then article explains the principle of LSB algorithm in detail, realizes the addition of hidden depth image data module based on X.264 and exploit the 264 decoder library in FFMPEG to add module used for extracting depth information. And from the theoretical analysis of the use of improved LSB algorithm in this paper, it has two main disadvantages: shortage of carrier capacity and one depth image corresponding to a plurality of video frames. So here applies and improves the BPCS algorithm to hide and extract the depth information based on the BPCS algorithm in X.264 and FFMPEG, then makes a detailed comparison with the LSB algorithm. It shows that the BPCS algorithm not only solved the two major shortcomings of the LSB algorithm, but also improved the quality of integrated naked 3D eye picture. Finally, from the method of objective evaluation of video image by mathematical model calculation,it shows that the depth image hidden technology base on BPCS algorithm is with excellent performance.
