Due to the unpredictable nature of the accident, lack the experience of unexpected incident handling often leads to loss beyond retrieve. The power companies already developed a lot of safety training systems but cannot reach good training effect just because most of the death or injury accidents can’t be simply reproduced.The development of technology especially the virtual reality makes this possible. Virtual reality system helps the traditional learning, learners can do simulation whenever they can, it makes the two-way communication and discussion between teachers and learners become easier, it provides multiple ways of learning, and reduce the occurrence of electric power safety the accident.In order to solve this problem, this paper try to construct a electric power safety training system based on the virtual reality technology, it can help the learners understand and master the power safety procedures in a virtual 3D learning environment. The author completes the system requirements through inquiry and do research on popular virtual reality training system. The whole system based on the BS architecture, it using a lightweight J2 EE framework which based on SSH, complemented by Flash AS and Web Service technology, the database layer using the popular MySQL database, the whole system adopts loose coupling manner in system design. And whole system design process by UML language and makes it very clear in business logic and technical design.Based on the strict system tests, such as unit testing, system integration testing, interface testing and browser compatibility testing, we have reason to believe that this system meet all the original system requirements, and it can solve most of the problems encountered during the process of safety training. In addition, the expansibility of the system performance, safety, stability also satisfies these requirements.All in all, based on the understanding of the actual process, exploring through the related literature, consolidating the theory related to the safety rules of training simulation system, and discussing the key links of domestic electric power safety training and practical needs, this paper realize a system of electric power company safety training, and wishing to provide a reference for the electric power safety training, so as to effectively enhance the quality and effectiveness of this training.
