As an intuitive, fast, convenient human-computer interaction, touch technology has been widely used in recent years. Currently, most multi-touch technology has been applied in 2D display, but not much used in the 3D display and lack of research. Meanwhile, multi-touch screen for the 3D display mainly characterized by large size, and in this regard, it has a huge market demand. So multi-touch technology for large-screen stereoscopic display research has important significance. In the large-size touch screen design, infrared touch screen with its low cost, long life and other advantages has become the first choice for large-size touch-screen design.On the basis of infrared multi-touch system which has been completed by my project team, system has been optimized. The thesis aimed at the key problems existing include of slow response to the infrared touch system, prone to pseudo-coordinates of the points, low accuracy the coordinates calculation, little versatility equipment and so on, has studied the system driver technology and optimized the system. The summery of key technology and innovation as followings:First, multi-point coordinate’s solver strategy was planned, multi-point coordinates solver algorithms have been proposed, which was able to achieve the multi-touch function in terms of limited hardware resources.Second, multi-point coordinates optimization algorithms have been proposed, which avoids the low accuracy of multi-point coordinate’s solver algorithms, and the slow calculating coordinates, and other defects. The results show that the system’s response speed and accuracy are improved.Third, the driver development of infrared touch screen USB interface has been implemented. The development of the driver was based on the Microsoft USB standard protocol. No driver device has been achieved, which has plug and play, and hot plug features.Based on the above key technologies and innovations, methods have been researched and tested in the built 50-inch LCD for infrared touch system. The results show that the system can plug and play, be able to complete the multi-points coordinate’s solver, and has achieved the expected goals.
