With rapid development of touch technology, touch-screen panel is being widely used in the fields of education, service, medical treatment, military industry, as touch technology matures and become pervasive, more and more types of touch-screen products get into the market. In recent years, relying on its compatible strong, long lifespan and identification of more touch points, the infrared screen panels have gained market’s recognition and enter a "blowout" type of explosive growth stage.The first part introduces the significance and background of the subject, the current development state and trend of infrared multi—ouch screen panel, the main research contents and the structure of the paper, and also puts forward the innovation point.The second part explains the principle and system design of the infrared touch-screen panel, and makes the detailed introduction to hardware, firmware, USB HID and algorithms respectively. The part of hardware introduces the hardware circuit including a control circuit, a scanning circuit, signal processing circuit and USB communication circuit. The part of firmware introduces the various scanning modes of firmware, and makes a comparative analysis. The part of USB HID introduces the relevant configuration of the HID and how to transmit the data. The part of the algorithm module introduces the basic principle of multi-point positioning for infrared touch-screen panel.The third part is the focus of the article, firstly, it introduces several positioning schemes of infrared multi-point, and make a comparative analysis for advantages and disadvantages of each scheme, and a new multi-point positioning solution based on polygon intersection is then proposed. Secondly, it introduces several tracking schemes of infrared multi-point touch-screen system, and achieves trajectory tracking based on global optimization upon the trajectory prediction for speed and acceleration. Finally, to consider the complicated environment, it present a anti-glare interference upon the self-test and self-adjustment of the touch-screen panel.The forth part completes the experimental platform, during the process of experimental, firstly, it completes the debugging for the hardware and algorithm through the analog debugging platform and binayization debugging platform. Secondly, it completes the construction of a 55-inch prototype, and tests the algorithm on the prototype. Finally, after statistics for the testing data, it gets the experimental result.The result of the article has successfully applied in the marketed TV, it establishes the foundation for the further optimization for algorithm for large infrared multi-touch-screen panel, and has good economic benefit and market prospect.
