In an age of globalization, the culture of any nation is formed by continous exchange and fusion in a relatively open environment.Gansu province is located at the main part of the Silk Road, is an important birthplace of the C hinese civilization and the Chinese nation, is the important cultural treasury of C hinese nation. The plowing culture and the nomadic culture, the native culture and foreign culture are colliding, communicating and fusing continuously at here, formed a unique cultural landscape. At present, in the background of the Silk Road Economic Belt construction, with the increasing frequence of. intercultural communication activities, The spread of Gansu characteristic culture is facing man y problems: the continued deterioration of the natural environment, relatively backward economic development, the loss of cultural essence and shortage on routes and modes of transmission. Although the overall trend is in favorable circumstances, the transmission of Gansu characteristic culture still faces severe chal enges.This paper aims at revealing the contradiction, exploring strategies and method to promote characteristic cultural communication of Gansu. The stud y hopes to contribute to the outward development of Gansu characteristic culture. This paper derives the background and foundation of Gansu characteristic culture. Take the national culture as an example, carries out the co mprison analysis between the Gansu national culture and Central Asia na tional culture along the Silk Road. The author analyzes the reasons anout how to broaden characteristic cultural communication ways and modes of Gansu。Finally, In the face of the current situation and the deficiency of Gansu characteristic culture development, and then puts forward some countermeasures of strengthen and advance.
