With the development of computer technology, the application of information technology is widely used for production and management in power plant. As a resource, information is a basic element for social production the same as materials and energy. Modern management method, centralized with development and utilization of information resources, based on computer, network, communications and other technologies, has made a big difference from traditional industry management methods, which greatly improves the enterprise operation and management efficiency.Power plants is an asset-intensive enterprise, thus the maintenance of assets is very important for it, the cost of equipment maintenance has occupied a large proportion in budget, how to save the maintenance cost is really tough for cost management. With the development of power industry and the improvement of scientific technologies, the number of power plant equipment and its precision rate are constantly improved, thus there is more and more information that need to collect, transport, process, store and query. The traditional way of equipment recorded by hands has been out of date and also the biggest bottleneck for plant management efficiency.Power plant equipment management system is a self-designed equipment management system that based on the requirement of power plant and BFS++ technology. System platform architecture good. This system was based on BFS++ platform, using process design,from design models and a variety of other design patterns to realize good platform architecture. System was divided into distinct modules; all these modules comply with low coupling and high coherent between modules. System requirement analysis comply with the specific needs of power plant, the completed system functions including accounting management, repair management, operaion management, material management, document management.This thesis will introduce the system requirement analysis, system design, process design, form design and finally demonstrate the system interface. Currently, this system has been applied to the daily management of power plant, which has got a good feedback.
