With the development of wireless communication, today 3 GPP started a rapid evolution from LTE to LTE-A. Wireless Heterogeneous network as one of the key technologies of LTE-A, by increasing the Pico base station and improving the topology of the Heterogeneous network, it could achieve hotspot coverage and cell service distribution. But at the same time, when the number of the Pico cells increases and high-density heterogeneous networks formed, serious interference problems will appear. How to deal with the interference between Macro cell and Pico cells, and between Pico cells themselves in LTE-A Heterogeneous Networks is the most important issue. Based on this issue, this paper studies the interference technology for heterogeneous networks.First, it introduces the basic theory of LTE-A heterogeneous networks, by the evolution from LTE to LTE-A, there have been several key technologies. In order to obtain greater system gain, LTE-A use the heterogeneous networks technology. Subsequently, we have a analysis of interference problem caused by heterogeneous network. To this end,3GPP give a solution called elCIC.Next, inspired by the LTE-A carrier aggregation technology, same frequency interference can be avoided by choosing different members of carrier. Carrier selection algorithm is proposed. Supported by multi-antenna technology, you can also avoid interference in the spatial.Finally, taking into account the multidimensional radio resource management in the future, joint algorithm of component carrier selection and interference alignment is proposed in heterogeneous networks. In limited resources of component carrier s and antennas, it could be able to improve the system throughput greater degree.We prove, whether carrier selection and interference alignment or the better joint interference technology, it can effectively inhibit cell interference between heterogeneous networks, so that the system capacity could increase. For the LTE-A heterogeneous network development, It will provide reliable technical support in the future.
