As the power demand-side management, energy conservation and emission reduction are positively promoted throughout the country, Power Energy Efficiency Monitoring System (PEEMS) is also being built as an important support. Power Energy Efficiency Information Concentrate and Exchange Terminal (PEEICET), which is an important part of PEEMS, has a great significance to complete the evaluation of energy efficiency and provide energy saving services in PEEMS. In ordei to achieve the efficent data collection, storage and management capabilities and ensure the reliability of PEEMS, this paper has made some research on several key technologies of Electricity and Energy Efficiency Information Acquisition System Embedded Real-Time Database (EEASERTDB) which is specially used in PEEICET.Firstly, in order to meet the requirements of PEEICET on the collection and storage of power energy efficiency real-time data, a main memory database which is a part of EEASERTDB is designed and realized based on the structural characteristics of PEEMS and the functional requirements of PEEICET. The structure of separate the device data and the real-time data is adopted the main memory database in order to achieve the fast acquisition of data and the decoupling between read data and write data. The result of functional test and performance analysis indicate that the main memory database meet the requirements of PEEICET and has a good performance.Secondly, the common lossy compression algorithms in process data compression, including Dead Zone algorithm, Swing Door Tending algorithm (SDT) and improved SDT algorithms, has been introduced. The test and in-depth analysis are finished in three aspects of compression time, compression ratio and compression precision. According to the requirement of EEASERTDB on time, space and compression precision of compression algorithm, the Eliminate Wild Value and Optimize Approximate Line SDT algorithm (EWOL-SDT) is presented and designed. The test result shows EWOL-SDT has a good performance in compression ratio and compression precision. It can control the compression time in a small range. Compared with other lossy compression algorithms, EWOL-SDT is more suitable for EEASERTDB.Finally, the significance of the compression of the communication message between PEEICET and Power Energy Efficiency Monitoring System Master Station (Substation) is described. Combining the features of communication message in type and structure, the compression scheme of communication message named Dynamic Selection and Region Segmentation Compression (DSRSC) is designed. DSRSC is specially used in EEASERTDB to achieve a efficient compression in communication message. It is an important support of the storage of communication message while communication failure.
