Since the broadband power line communication system which applies orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technology possesses multiple advantages, it has become one of the optional schemes of broadband access. Dynamic resource allocation techniques can effectively improve the application efficiency of the limited resources and ensure the service quality of each user. This thesis conducts the research on cross layer resource allocation algorithm for broadband power line communication system by the way of cross-layer design. Firstly, aiming at the fast and equitable access issue for multiple users of mixed services, the cross layer resource allocation algorithm is proposed based on fairness and emergency degree to maximize the total throughput of system and simultaneously ensure the fairness among users. Secondly, to solve the resources optimization allocation issue for broadband power line communication system with multi-gateway structure, this thesis puts forward a distributed cross layer resource allocation algorithm based on QoS assurance and gateway load balancing. The mentioned algorithms above are simulated and analysed in the typical power-line channel environment. And results show that the proposed algorithms have better performance under the premise of meeting the objective of resources optimization allocation model. |
