UV detection of high-altitude high-speed moving target is to detect its plume radiation of 200 nm ~ 280 nm "solar-blind region".Due to atmospheric absorption and scattering of UV light, UV light reaching the detector signal is extremely weak,so how to deal with UV weak image signal becomes focus of UV imaging detection technology. To promote specific applications in the military aspects, this issue mainly analyzed and researched related algorithms of UV weak image signal on the basis of overall technical indicators proposed, and designed related hardware and software system. Through simulation verified the selected algorithms, validated and evaluated the system design.First, discussed the relevant technical foundation of UV imaging detection system briefly, and analyzed the temporal and spatial c haracteristics and ultraviolet radiation characteristics of high-altitude high-speed moving target in detail, and established UV transfer equation and target motion equation, and studied UV weak signal processing methods and processes.Second, the issue established UV target model based on the analysis of characteristics of UV digital image, studied nine related algorithms of preprocessing, background suppression as well as target detection algorithms based on single image. By simulation, choosed gray-scale transformation as image preprocessing algorithm, adaptive median filtering as image background suppression algorithm and adaptive threshold as target detection algorithm, and used MATLAB to simulate and verify the effects of the three types digital image processing algorithms.Then, designed hardware and software systems of ultraviolet imaging detection according to the proposed overall technical indicators and the overall design of hardware and software. Through the device selection, adopted C yclone Ⅳ series EP4CE30F23C7 N + TMS320DM642 as core processing architecture of hardware circuit eventually, while taking advantage of development platform QUARTERS Ⅱ and Verilog HDL, VHDL language and other development languages, and designed overall software of the system(including four parts- image acquisition, image storage, image transmission and image display). Conducted simulation by Modelsim, which verified the correctness of image acquisition unit, image storage unit, image transmission unit and image display unit.The outcome of the issue provides theory and engineering technical guidance for further research of UV image for high-altitude high-speed moving targets,and its application in UV target acquisition, UV target warning and UV terminal guidance, which has an important role and significance.
