With the rapid development of electronic technology, the information in elec-tromagnetic space is becoming increasingly complex. Because of more demands in electronic reconnaissance technology, the traditional electronic reconnaissance equipment with single function cannot adapt to the modern electronic informa-tion warfare and the integrated electronic reconnaissance system emerges as re-quired. The integrated electronic system combines different kinds of electronic equipment, functional systems and military reconnaissance means into a common platform to achieve the sharing of information and resource.Meanwhile, it de-velops a typical distributed application environment.In the integrated electronic reconnaissance system, various hardware, software modules and subsystems work together to complete collection and disposing of the data, as well as the analysis and judgment of the result. Therefore, an effective distributed data communica-tion platform for the integrated electronic reconnaissance system has become an important guarantee for the reconnaissance missions.Based on the in-depth analysis and summary of the data communication technology in existing electronic reconnaissance system, the paper focuses on the characteristics and requirements of data communication,designs and implements a data communication platform which is based on ZeroMQ. The main design and the key technologies are listed as follows:Firstly, the paper analyzes the characteristics and requirements of data com-munication in integrated electronic reconnaissance system and points out the chal-lenges in present electronic reconnaissance system.Secondly, according to the characteristics and requirements of distributed da-ta communication,the paper presents the overall design scheme and describes the major functions and components, including system servers, message servers and APIs. The paper also designs various kinds of communication patterns for dis-tributed communication platforms, including patterns such as publish-subscribe, pipelining, point to point and the request-response. Moreover,The paper devises the message format and internal command format for communication.Thirdly, based on the overall architecture of the distributed data communica-tion platform, the paper presents the detailed design scheme and key technologies. From the aspect of loose coupling, it designs a high availability system server clus-ter. From the aspect of transparency, it designs and implements a message server connection management strategy. From the aspect of reliability and durability, it designs an asynchronous file-based persistence.Finally, we build an integrated electronic reconnaissance system test scenario to test the function and performance of the distributed data communication plat-form.The results show that the distributed data communication platform meets the need of the distributed data communication in the integrated electronic re-connaissance system.
