With the development of science and technology, people pay more and more attention to the quality of life of disadvantaged groups. According to relevant statistics show that China has gradually entered the aging stage, time until October 2014,the number of elderly people over the age of 60 was more than two hundred million. For the elderly, to take a bath has relaxation, treatment and health care function and so on. In recent years,the specific functions of bath apparatus is widely used throughout the world. At present,the low price of bath apparatus of intelligent degree is single, and the expensive price of bath apparatus versatilely but it has the disadvantage of designing process of complex and high cost. Therefore, based on market demand, it is necessary to design a bath apparatus with powerful functions and reasonable price for the special situation of old people.Water temperature control system is the core parts of the bath apparatus, how to ensure a constant water temperature is the key factor to control system. In this paper, base on the PID parameters self-tuning algorithm and mix water valve technology, established the mathematical model system and designed the overall scheme control system. According to the functional requirements of this system, the STM32 series microcontroller as the controller of power supply module. Hardware design include power supply module, alarm module, information input module (including touch buttons, infrared remote control, voice recognition), the temperature sensor module, liquid crystal display module and stepper motor driver module. Based on C language implementation of a machine of STM32 the underlying configuration, the target temperature acquisition, the current temperature acquisition, stepper motor control, abnormal temperature alarm and basic function such as information display, and use Dview friendly HMI PC interface, software development to complete the current water temperature, water consumption, set goals, such as temperature and water temperature change curve display of data information, provide users with a more intuitive system information. Under the condition of water temperature and pressure fluctuate, the system still can be carried out in accordance with the user set the target temperature and has a water consumption statistics,bath time and water temperature anomalies alarm, etc.Finally, the water temperature control system for functional test. Test results show that the system can solve smart bath apparatus water temperature control requirements, especially solve the bath water temperature high and low affect older people use comfort and bathing security problems, has a broad prospect of its market value, and the application significance.
