A smart system with build-in function of anti-theft and exhibition was designed and implemented in this thesis. This system uses the technology of the Internet of Things, and aims to meet the urgent need of exhibit and monitor valuables at market, exhibition and museum and so on. It consist of 5 main parts: Anti-theft and Exhibition device, PC software, Phone software, WPAN(wireless personal area network), and Cloud. The anti-theft and exhibition device not only can get alarm information at real time to achieve excellent anti-theft effect, but also have better promotional effect through play video ads. In addition, the devices transmit information through WPAN to connect to the internet. Use this way user can control the device at any time anywhere.This thesis mainly describe how to design and implement embedded system and PC software.Embedded system mainly includes the following parts:(1) It achieves the function of task management, inter-task communication and border control using the lightweight operating system;(2) It achieves the function of through WPAN to update embedded system program using the IAP;(3) using file system to make operate SD card easy;(4) using anti-theft system to protect the exhibit;(5) using exhibit system to make the effect of publicity better.PC software mainly includes the following parts:(1) using SQLite, a lightweight relation database, to manage the data information;(2) using the technology of multi-thread to make deal with alarm information more timely;(3) using control program to achieve the function of play, stop, delete the files on the embedded device;(4) using monitor program to achieve the function of get video screen at real-time and control the camera track alarm source.Finally, the system’s functionality and performance was tested. The result shows that the system meets the design requirements in real-time, reliability, power consumption.
