With the rapid development of smart devices and wireless communication technology, mobile data experiences an exponential increase, among which the mobile multimedia takesabout55%of the total data flow. Moreover, according to an estimate made by CISCO, thepercentage taken up by mobile multimedia will go up to72%by year of2020. It is a commonendeavour of the industry to provide the customer a stable and fluent multimedia service withhigh resolution.Taking the explosive and instensive feature of multimedia service, and thescarce wireless wide banth resources into consideration, multicast transmission technology isan ideal and efficient solution, because multicast transmission can provide service to multipleusers through one time transmission. Multicast transmission should take both data through outand service coverage rate into consideration. In order to overcome the low coverage of theedge of the block, we select coordinated multiple sations to provide mulicast transmission tothe block.Based on the standards, this paper tried to improve the performance of multicasttransmission further. In detail, this paper mainly optimized the spectrum efficiency andimproved the energy efficiency under the given service coverage rate.Based on the idea of providing the multicast service to a single block through thecoordination between singlecast transmission and multicast transmission. This paper extendedthis plan to the scenario of coordinated multiple stations.Through system analysis, we got theexpression for the service coverage rate under the circumstance of the coordination betweentwo different signals, and got the best signal-to-noise ratio, whereby we got the best multicastand single cast wide band service distribution and maximize the system spectrum efficiency. The simulation showed that the spectrum efficiency increased to1.5times compared toconventional method. With the expanding deployment of low power base stations, the communication networktopology is showing more and more irregular, breaking the conventional hexagonal networktopology. This paper firstly modeled the random distribution of base station with randomnetwork and analyse the system performance of the multicast provided by multiple stationswith irregular distribution through stochastic geometry theory. Besides we did thecomparision with traditional mulicast cell service.Under the same BS density andtransmission power, the traditional hexagonal cell network has better service quality andenergy effeciency. Therefore, as the deployment of stations is getting more and more irregular,in order to ensure the system energy efficiency and quality of service, we shoulddeploy more low power staion and take full advantage of the coordination between stations inlar scale, only in this way can we ahceive the same energy effeciency as the traditional cell network.
