Research On Coverage And Capacity Analysis In DWCS Based On60GHz

It is a critical problem in mobile communation that the contradiction between limited spectrum resource and infinite communation requirement has existed for a long time. Thus Distributed Wireless Communication System (DWCS) was proposed based on the technique of distributed antenna system, and60GHz millimeter wave has been explored as a modern research object in wireless communication, because of its benefits of free license and large bandwidth. Furthermore, capacity analysis is necessary in mobile communication system.In this thesis, the bottlenecks encountered by cellular communication were studied firstly, and based on the problems existed in cellular communication, the concept of DWCS was proposed.Then, features of60GHz millimeter wave were introduced briefly, as well as its research interests and status. Studies of DWCS were performed comprehensively and systematically, and intensive capacity analysis was made based on the studies above, among which capacity contains channel capacity and user capacity.In the first place, channel capacity of DWCS on different mode of power distribution was analyzed, by means of calculating strategies in MIMO system. Relations between minimum distance and channel capacity were also studied, in which minimum distance means the minimum distance between mobile station(MS) and distributed antenna, because of the relationship between channel capacity and the location of MS. Result showed that DWCS had a larger channel capacity than cellular communication.In the second place, reverse user capacity in DWCS was analyzed with Rayleigh fading and Rician fading respectively, and maximum ratio combining (MRC) was employed in DWCS system. Comparing DWCS to cellular antenna array system on the same bandwidth and area, we knew that stronger system stability and accommodating capacity existed on DWCS.In the end, some conclusions were made, and trends of developing in capacity analysis were explored.
