With the development of electrical automation technology, people’ requirements on powersupply’ reliability and electricity consumption’ economic indicators are continually increasing.Modern society’s information and network are based on the electrification, besides, the design of thepower supply and distribution will affect the basic construction investment and operating costs ofthe building directly. Therefore, a good design for power supply and distribution is an importantpremise to ensure that people work, learn and live normally. In addition, as people’ pursuit forintelligence, the intelligent technology of buildings has been widely recognized and supported.Through electronic and information technology, intelligent buildings monitors the equipments ofthe building automatically, manages the information resources and provides information services tocustomers, this management and service model improves people’s working efficiency greatly.The topic of this article comes from the10KV power supply and distribution project of theParty School Institute Building in Yongjia County, analyzes the choice of equipments, electricityload, electrical energy saving and other contents in the electrical design appropriately. The designaims to get a safe, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly power supply and distributionsystem according to the load characteristics. About the problem of energy saving, the article willmainly make the following researches:Firstly, for the actual situation of the lighting energy consumption in this project, a integralintelligent lighting control solution is proposed. By comparing several intelligent dimming methods,the article introduces the applications of DALI protocol in intelligent lighting control, studies thehardware circuit of digital addressable current device based on DALI protocol, and describes itsEMI filter circuit, power factor correction circuit, dimming chip, micro-controller chip and otherhardware circuits in detail. By anglicizing the circuit and the level conversion protocol, the articleselects and designs the main components in the intelligent control system, the controller chip usesPIC16F877, the dimming chip selects IR21592, then designs a DALI control unit and thecorresponding circuit modules, describes the dimming principle and circuits connecting in detail. Atlast, the three-layer network architecture about intelligent lighting system is built, the control theoryand communication theory are introduced in brief.Secondly, the article proposes to apply Genetic algorithm to DALI intelligent control system.By making a joint use of natural light and artificial lighting using genetic algorithms, it can reachthe illuminance requirements of desktops through adjusting the brightness of each lamps and save energy in the same time. Natural light comes in through windows and projects onto each desktop,because of the difference of the sun strength at different time and the difference of the distancebetween desktops and windows, it leads to different amount of natural light projected onto eachworking face, which results in that the amount of artificial light required on different working faceare different too. Meanwhile, the lamps and working faces have a relationship of multipoint tomultipoint, it can achieve the set illuminance values through adjusting the brightness in real timeusing genetic algorithms.Finally, the paper verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the above options throughMATLAB simulation platform. And through the analysis of energy consumption and the electricitytariffs, the superiority of the intelligent lighting system designed in this article is fully confirmed.
